Niki is originally from the Northeast and it was her personal birth experience was the driving force behind her becoming a doula. Having had a traumatic birth with her first child, she did a lot of research when expecting her second to help ensure it would be a different experience. Through all of this, Niki discovered benefits of both having and being a doula. She trained as a birth and postpartum doula and a postpartum placenta specialist. She brings both her personal and professional experience to each new client. Knowing well the importance of balancing natural methods with those of modern medicine, she has a special interest in working with those who are interested in trying for a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) and those who have experienced previous birth traumas.

When not working with her clients, she is taking care of her own family and loves to read, travel and knows the true value of a good nap. While she enjoys dressing up and putting on some glittery makeup- she is not afraid to play in the dirt and get messy.
